W. Ray Sullivan, Jr. joined the staff of the Georgia Baptist Foundation in  August of 2001 after serving 12 years as pastor of First Baptist Church, Waycross.  There he assisted the church in establishing a Planned Giving Ministry which endows children's missions, benevolence, and mission scholarships.  The satisfaction derived from that experience prepared him for his present assignment as Director of Development, South Georgia.  He has degrees from Stetson University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
